Better care for people with Personality Disorders

We will support personality disorder service development by:

• increasing the leadership capacity across the region for these services
• roll out the Knowledge and Understanding Framework basic level awareness training and train-the-trainers programme
• enable service user and carer development work across the region

Developing Leadership Skills

We will set up and deliver a Leadership Effective Analysis (LEA) programme for 20 assistant and associate medical directors within one of our local Mental Health Foundation Trusts and evaluate these roles.

Offender Health

We will lead the development of a multi-disciplinary pathway of care which will identify and refer appropriately people with a mental health and/or learning disability from the criminal justice system into required services.
