Mental Wellbeing and Social Inclusion
This programme is driven by a multi-agency approach involving statutory, non-statutory and third sector organisations to improve individual and population-level mental wellbeing, leading to more socially inclusive communities and reduced suicide rates. The guiding documents for the programme are Better Health Fairer Health and Our Vision, Our Future, and the programme is aligned with the Regional Advisory Group for Mental Health, Happiness and Wellbeing, the Mental Health clinical pathway, the Regional Employment Team and emergent suicide prevention structures. The programme includes;

Mental Wellbeing in Later Life
This programme, which ended in December 2009, led developments in equity of care for older people, working across five key areas:

- Strengthening Involvement
- Everybody's Business
- Mental Health and Wellbeing of Black and Minority Ethnic Elders
- Communities of Interest
